Transparent, credit-based pricing that grows with you.
Bloom uses a credit-based system for model, sandbox, and API compute. Paid plans include credits each billing cycle. The Free plan does not include a recurring monthly credit allowance; explicitly admitted accounts may receive a one-time admission grant. For a full breakdown of plans and to get started, visit bloom.diy/pricing.
Credit usage is predictable: Monitor your consumption in real-time from your dashboard. You’ll never be surprised by your bill.
Bloom access is rolling out gradually. Existing admitted users retain access and can continue opening and building their projects. New accounts join the waitlist unless explicitly admitted. Purchasing a plan or credits does not bypass admission.
Credits are consumed when Bloom uses model, sandbox, or API compute to build or modify your app. The number of credits used depends on the complexity of the request.
Do failed requests use credits?
Yes. Credits pay for compute consumed, not only successful delivered output. A request can therefore use credits even if it later fails. If a request is dominated by a Bloom platform failure, contact support; goodwill credits are reviewed manually rather than issued automatically.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Your app continues to run for existing users, but you won’t be able to generate new code or upload new files beyond your storage limit. Tap the Credits count in the bottom left of the sidebar to open Usage & Billing and purchase a top-up.
Can I monitor my usage?
Yes. Your remaining credits are shown in the bottom left of the sidebar at all times. Tap the Credits count to open the Usage & Billing tab in Settings for a full breakdown.
How can I upgrade my subscription?
Tap the Credits count in the bottom left of the sidebar to open Usage & Billing in Settings. Choose the plan you want to upgrade to and you’ll be taken to the billing portal to complete the change. Your new credits and limits apply immediately.
How can I downgrade my subscription?
Tap the Credits count in the bottom left of the sidebar to open Usage & Billing in Settings. Choose a lower plan and confirm the change. Your current plan remains active until the end of your billing period, at which point the new plan takes effect.
How can I cancel my subscription?
Tap the Credits count in the bottom left of the sidebar to open Usage & Billing in Settings, then choose Downgrade to Free. Your paid plan stays active until the end of the current billing period. Any unused credits expire at that point.
How can I change my billing information?
Tap the Credits count in the bottom left of the sidebar to open Usage & Billing in Settings, then select Manage Billing. You’ll be redirected to the Stripe portal where you can update your payment method, billing address, and other details.
How do I get more credits?
Tap the Credits count in the bottom left of the sidebar to open Usage & Billing in Settings. From there you can upgrade your plan or purchase a one-time top-up. Top-ups are sold in 250-credit increments ranging from 500 to 15,000 credits and never expire. You can also earn credits through referrals in Rewards. Each referral can earn up to 1,750 credits as your friend completes milestones, and your friend gets 250 credits when they sign up.
When do included credits renew?
Included credits on paid plans renew with the subscription billing cycle shown in Usage & Billing. Free accounts do not have a monthly credit reset. Purchased top-ups follow the expiry terms shown at checkout.
Can I buy a top-up of credits?
Yes. Tap the Credits count in the bottom left of the sidebar to open Usage & Billing in Settings and purchase a top-up. Credits are sold in 250-credit increments from 500 to 15,000 and never expire.
How do I see the remaining credits in my account?
Your remaining credits are always visible in the bottom left of the sidebar. Tap the Credits count to open Usage & Billing in Settings for a full breakdown.
Can I get free credits?
Free accounts do not receive a recurring monthly allocation. Some explicitly admitted accounts receive a one-time 350-credit admission grant. Any other promotional or reward credits are shown in Usage & Billing with their own terms.
I can't pay for my subscription. What should I do?
Double-check your payment details and try again. If the issue persists, try a different payment method. For ongoing problems, reach out to us at support@bloom.diy.
I've paid but still don't have access to my plan. What should I do?
Payment does not bypass Bloom’s access waitlist. If your account is already admitted and your paid plan has not updated within a few minutes, contact us at support@bloom.diy and we’ll get it sorted.
I've upgraded but haven't received any credits?
Upgrading to a higher plan adds the difference in credits, not a full new allocation. If you’ve upgraded and your credit balance looks incorrect, contact us at support@bloom.diy.
